Morton Pottery Fan Vase

Morton Pottery took  advantage of the local clay deposits and started as Rapp Brick and Tile Works in 1877.  This business flourished into  the 20th century until the a fire destroyed the facilities in 1936.

The Rapp Brothers Pottery Works was then established to meet the growing demand for mixing bowls and utensils.  It reached its peak in the 1950s when it offered a signature line of decorative products (like this Fan vase) and was then third largest business of its kind in the US.
